Academia & Industry Relations

An AIR is a joint venture between the St. Soldier Group of Institutions, an employer, and a student. Work assignments are related to a student?s major and are varied to provide a range of experience and training. SSGI offers several options designed to accommodate the needs of both students and employers.

Internships are similar to AIR, except a student has the freedom to choose a work assignment that is not directly related to their primary field of study. Although an intern usually doesn?t receive academic credit, an internship may provide invaluable work experience.
